North Chapel

Capacity: 120 seated plus standing room and additional standing room outside the chapel

The North Chapel is the larger chapel at Pinegrove Memorial Park and is equipped with audio-visual technology so you can play music and show a photo display, celebrating your loved one's life.

The chapel can be expanded by opening up its wing-door, providing overflow for funeral services with up to 500 guests.

You are invited to decorate the space with memorabilia, flowers and any other items to create a tribute to your loved one.

West Chapel

Capacity: 120 seated plus standing room

The West Chapel is slightly smaller and more intimate, with seating for 120 guests and standing room for up to 100.

As with the North Chapel, you can bring music and a digital photo display to show during a reflection time at the service.

A simple coffin that you can decorate with flowers, photos or even drawings and messages.

Funeral service at a chapel

45 minute service at one price for any of our 14 locations, throughout Greater Sydney, Central Coast, Illawarra & Shoalhaven.

Webcasting

A live webcast will be created by the chapel.

Cremation & return of ashes

Cremation will take place following the funeral service, at the same location. Ashes will be returned to you by registered post.

Our professional mortuary will prepare and dress your loved one in clothes provided by you, or in a shroud.

Viewing | $289

The viewing will take place 15 minutes prior to the service and must be combined with the mortuary dressing option.

Black hearse | $462

A black Commodore hearse will transport your loved one to the funeral service.

Memoriam book | $172

An elegantly presented keepsake commemorating your loved one and a record of those in attendance.

Life story presentation | $324

A presentation to be shown at the service, made of images and music supplied by you. You will receive a version on a USB after the service.

Clergy or celebrant | $495

Family members are welcome to conduct the funeral service by sharing sories and stories or reading a eulogy. But if you don't feel comfortable speaking in front of others, a celebrant can document and tell your loved one’s life story on your behalf.

*$495 is a typical cost. Celebrants and clergy can alter their fee, so we will confirm the cost when we are arranging this service for you.

Flowers | $150

This price is for a simple casket cover using available, seasonal flowers.

Sourcing your own flowers is one way of saving costs on a funeral service. If you would like to have flowers at the service for decoration or for attendees to lay a flower on the coffin, you could bring flowers from home or organise flowers with a florist directly.

Can music be played during the service?

You can design the service to celebrate the life your loved one lived, and reflect what they held dear. This includes bringing music to play as people arrive, during the service, or at the end.

You can supply music on a CD or a USB and give it to the funeral director at the chapel.

If you would like to have a vocalist or a musician play at the service, you are welcome to organise this yourself.
